If you are trying to buy a house or a major purchase, this is the faster way to get points. Pay down on your cards. This is something you can do on your own. However, you must have the cash to do so. If not create a plan to get them down. You can do ...this over a three or six month timeframe. Let me give you an example. Let's say you had a bill of $1000.00. You can break this down into whatever you can afford. For 3 months you will pay 333.00 a month. For 6 months 166.00 a month. The objective is to eliminate you debt. By doing this, you get rid of a bill and this helps your debt to ration aswell. Remember, your credit file is updated once a month. The best time to pay on any bill is when the bill is due. So continue to pay on time and pay early to avoid late fees. Recap-pay off any existing(REVOLVING) debt 30 days before you go shopping for MORE DEBT. GET POINTS!!!! Second- Eliminate a bill or two on your credit file!!( THIS WILL ALSO HELP YOUR SCORE) EASY POINTS!!! Last, especially for home loans. Make sure you DEBT RATION IS UNDER WHATEVER THE COMPANY you are applying for by at least 5% to be safe. The rule in credit applications: DON"T GO SHOPPING FOR A LOAN WHEN YOU OWE JOE THE PLUMMER AND HIS FAMILY!!!! YOU WILL GET DENIED...OR GET A BAD LOAN. GOD DOES NOT WANT HIS CHILDREN TO BE IGNORANT. So, get some wisdom, knowledge, and understanding!!! GOT IT, MORE TO COME IN THE DAYS, AND YEARS AHEAD. WE HAVE TO CATCH UP CONSUMERS. STRIVING TO GIVE THIS TO YOU IN LAYPERSON TERMS..THANKS FOR BEING APART OF THE NEW ERA LEADERS IN CREDIT INFORMATION..NOW GO BLESS SOMEONE
